How to use as a cold pack:
Place pillow in a plastic bag and place in the freezer for several hours. Remove bag and use pillow as needed.

How to use as a hot pack:
Heat conventional (not convection) oven to 375-400 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 minutes, then turn fully off. Put pillow in a baking dish and place in the center of the oven (still turned off) for 15-20 minutes, depending on size of pillow. Pillow should now be hot. Use as as you would a hot water bottle, placing a cloth between skin and pillow, and a blanket or heavier fabric over it for insulation and long-lasting warmth.

For microwaves, start on lowest setting, always on a rotating tray. For small pillows, 700w for 1-2 minutes should suffice. As all units vary, test by increasing wattage and time gradually.

**Please use common sense and caution when using any heated item. Calibrate the heating temperature to your own comfort level while taking care to keep length of use and heat in moderation. S. We recommend hand-washing when needed for most of our our Warm/Cool pillows. Cotton Canvas pillows can be machine-washed and dried.
